Found that after installing Aprilaire auto humidifier control, found exsisting Aprilaire 400a float control does not work. Called Paul son and recommended replacement of humidifier with Aprilaire 600. Paul agreed to replace. Replaced humidifier and added a hard pipe pvc drain. Installed new 1/4†copper and shark bite humidifier tee. Gave oil furnace a call for heat and tested operation. Humidifier is working well at time of install. Humidifier only comes on with the fan, has a current sensing relay installed.
