Found alert code on thermostat was just a 3 month filter reminder. Checked air filter and it was very dirty 20x20x1 air filter is dirty from construction dust. Homeowner to replace. Removed filter for now to test out system. Also where air filter is located it can be moved to other bedroom location but then it is also far away from where the stair case rises up for cooling season and may pre- maturely shut off in a/c time. Homeowner wants to keep the thermostat where it is at for now. Started up heat pump system. Heat pump went into a/c mode when it was supposed to be in heating mode. Disconnected orange wire for reversing valve at outdoor heat pump and system went into heating mode. Went up in attic and had 24v at o wire. Went into settings on t6 thermostat and found everything was set up correctly, and wired correctly at base. Replaced t-6 thermostat head and put into heat pump mode. Now have 22 degree tempature rise and pressures were 285/80 410a. This will make a big difference for
