Found when we arrived furnace not glowing hsi. Found second floor gas furnace with inducer motor running but not proving pressure switch. Used a digital manometer and found inducer motor pulling 1.8 w.c. But not proving 1.20 w.c. Pressure switch. Checked all ports condensation and vacuum tubing, all clear. Checked outside at 2†exahaust pipe, did not see any debris. Pressure switch itself went bad. Replaced with universal pressure switch and set up to 1.0†w.c. Furnace fired right up and is working properly. Explained to homeowner how pressure switch functions.
