Heat tune up for carrier 100k BTU single stage natural gas furnace. Checked filter; ok. Cleaned flame sensor. Verified HSI resistance and condition (56.6 Ohms ok). Cleaned secondary drain and collector box using drain gun. Combustion test ok. Gas pressure ok. 56F temp rise ok. Electric motors are mechanically sound; components tested ok. Verified operation of both thermostats. Furnace is operating well at the time of this maintenance. Mr. Pasupulati mentioned that a clicking or dripping sound is noticeable in the duct system and can be heard in various room when the furnace is running. This is a balancing issue.
