Service call that the AC was not working. Homeowner stated that the indoor unit was blowing air but the outdoor fan motor was not running. Upon arrival found system turned off at the thermostat. Turned system on to cooling and proceeded to the outdoor unit. The Compressor was running and the outdoor unit fan did not turn on for over a minute and then began running. Found damaged wiring inside the control panel and the terminals for the Fan Capacitor were corroded and damaged as well. Replaced the Fan Capacitor and repaired wiring. Inspected other wiring inside the control panel. There were signs of mice being present inside the control panel. Put system back into operation and tested. Measured refrigerant charge and measured Amp Draw on Outdoor Fan and Compressor. The Compressor was running within Amp rating and the outdoor Fan was running just above its ratings at 1.00 Amp, and it is rated for 0.9 Amps. Checked Air Temperature readings on unit, and tested Condensation Pump. While insp
