Service call that the Water Water Heater was not working properly. Arrived onsite and spoke with Hoe owner about issue. Found Panels taken off of the Water Heater. The Top Element has a lot of rust and corrosion forming around it and the Insulation was Wet indicating that it is leaking. Found the Top Element Thermostat tripped. Reset and tested operation. After the Top Thermostat was satisfied the Bottom Heating Element was not reading proper Amperage. Exact age of the Water Heater is unknown due to having no Label. It is estimated that the Water Heater is between 10-15 Years old. Due to age and the overall condition it is not recommended to repair. Recommendation is to replace the Water Heater. An estimate for replacement is included.
