Performed Precision AC Tune Up on American Standard Heat Pump System. Replaced 20x20x1 Air Filter. Inspected Electrical Components on Indoor and Outdoor Unit. Found the Dual Capacitor on the Outdoor Unit was testing lower than the recommended rating on the Hermetic Side. Recommendation is to replace the Capacitor before any issues arise. Measured Refrigerant Charge on system. System is operating and refrigerant Charge is to standards at this time. Outdoor Fan Motor is running at its rated Amperage. While the system is operating, recommend begin planning/saving for replacement due to the age of the system (17 Years).
