Replace indoor thermal expansion valve due to malfunctioning, could not pump down system, due to high side restriction, recovered all refrigerant and installed new valve, after installing new valve, pressure test system at 300 psi no leaks were found, performed triple evacuation, took long time to achieve 500 microns, added factory charge 8 lbs and 8 oz, check heat pump operation on heat and cool mode, the unit runs good on cool mode, does not pump down, check defrost operation could not get unit to go into defrost had to do it manually and checked out ok
