Found system completely frozen up with about 3†of ice on evaporator coil and suction line frozen completely back to the compressor. Checked air filter and air filter is slightly dirty but not to where it would really effect air flow. System is an r-22 system from 2005. Also found blower motor running, but not putting out any air flow due to coil being a block of ice. Can not check refrigerant pressures while system is frozen up. Talked to landlord about entire situation. Recommended to homeowner to replace the system. Talked to the office about issue, office waved the diagnostic fee and we will need to return to check to see the cause of freezing issue.
