Checked water in water heater safety pan. Found bottom wet, checked relief valve. Found dry. Found no leaks around fittings. Checked tank it’s dry. Found top of water heater has water stains can’t tell where the water came from. Checked water pressure, found 92 psi standing. Ran water pressure dropped to 88 and recovered to 92 when water was off. Water pressure is high but stable. Dried pan and installed alarm. Set dry paper towel under relieve valve to see if valve is dripping that would be caused by a bad pressure reducing valve.
