No ac found system off upon arrival, set thermostat to call for ac fan motor starts but not the compressor check voltage ok compressor pulling 3 amps, check wiring, ohm out compressor wires and found r wining open, check wiring connections in compressor terminals, found open run wire, burnt wire, also all three terminals/wires are burnt and melted the insulation, also found compressor wire cap melted, compressor had a big burnout, explained customer that I can try and repair connections but there is no guarantees that compressor will work terminals are in bad shape and don’t know if will work correctly, new compressor is needed, new wiring and new disconnect due to high repair cost, is better to replace system
