Service call that the AC was not cooling and the Auxiliary drain pan underneath the air handler was full of water. Upon arrival found system turned off. Proceeded to air handler to troubleshoot. Vacuumed water out of auxiliary drain pan and poured water into Coil Pan to test drain line. After pouring water through pan multiple times found a crack on the Drain Pan Fitting. Removed the PVC drain line and found the Coil Drain Connection was broken and pieces of the threaded fitting could be removed. Spoke to homeowner about issue. At this time she decline attempting to fix the fitting, and she does not want to operate the AC until it can be repaired. We will call the manufacturer tomorrow and get pricing to replace the Coil and Drain Pan. Air Handler is a Whirlpool. The AC is shut off at the main breaker panel and the Blower Fan is set to on.
