Performed precision heat pump tune up on Payne heat pump with York air handler. Replaced air filter with 18x24x1 air filter that customer provided. Homeowner is going to look into a 17 1/2x24x1 to work better inside cabinet. Found indoor coil very caked up with dirt due to air filter not fitting correctly. Checked temperature rise of system at air handler. Blew out condensate drain. Checked operation of emergency heat. Checked refrigerant pressures and temperatures at indoor and outdoor units. Head pressure is 288 on high side for r-22 system. This is most likely caused by debris on indoor coil. Recommend to start thinking about replacement of system to a newer more efficient system. System is working at time of inspection.
