Performed Precision Heating Tune Up on Lennox Heat Pump system. Checked High Efficiency Air Filter. Filter was clean and in good condition. Performed Humidifier Servicing and cleaning. Cleaned Humidifier drain line and Condensation Pump. Filled and tested pump. Tested humidifier and set control to 35% Humidity. While performing tune up, found outdoor unit was running when the system was not calling for Heating/Cooling. After testing components, found the Contactor at the outdoor unit was seized in the closed position. Also found Oil on and around Dual Capacitor. Installed a new Single Pole 40Amp Contactor and a new 45/10 Mfd Capacitor for the Outdoor Unit. Completed all wiring connections and put system back in operation. Measured refrigerant charge in Heating mode and tested Auxiliary Heat Kit on Unit. System is operating but is 17 years old. Due to age and overall lower efficiency of the system, would recommend replacement of the Heat Pump unit before any refrigerant or component f
