Performed Precision Heating Tune Up on Gas Fired York Furnace. Replaced 14x25x1 Air Filter. Inspected Electrical Components on Furnace. Inspected Burners and Heat Exchanger. Both are free of visible rust and corrosion. The Hot Surface Ignitor is operating, but when tested electrically, it is measuring at the Higher end of its rating. A preventative measure would be to replace the Ignitor before it fails. Performed Combustion Analysis on Furnace while measuring Outlet Gas Pressure. Gas Pressure was set below rating at 2.4" WC. Adjusted Gas Pressure up to 3.0" WC to improve Combustion Levels. Amp readings on the Draft Inducer Motor were slightly above its rating. This could be a sign that the Inducer Motor is beginning to wear and is working harder to run. A recommended Air Quality Enhancement for this system would be to install a Whole House ByPass Humidifier.
