Second floor unit not keeping up when outdoor temperatures are above 94 degf. inspected ductwork and found to be in poor condition. Insulated R6 flex ducts everywhere and distribution boxes were present on each side. There are only 2 8†flex runs and 1 10†flex duct coming off of plenum. Sealed all areas around coil cabinet and return that were leaking air. Tested system operation. Solution would be to add more ductwork off of plenum for increased airflow if problem persists.
