Found that the primary control was off on a hard lockout. Reset control and found air in the oil line. Oil tank was replaced this summer plus oil pump has about 4 feet of lift , pump had lost its prime. After bleeding oil line started up oil burner a few times, furnace Did not fire constantly. Found that transformer was very weak, replace with transformer homeowner had previously purchased ( no warranty on part). Got furnace to fire but furnace is around 25 years old told homeowner don’t know how long it will stay working really needs replaced, homeowner is not ready for this step at this time.
