Performed Precision AC Tune Up on Carrier System. Checked 16x25x1 Air Filter. Filter was recently changed and still in good condition. Cleaned Condensation Drain Line and Pump. The unit sits in an Auxiliary Drain Pan but does not have any Water Safety Devices Installed. Would recommend installing an EZ Trap, Wet Switch, and Wiring Condensation Pump into the System. If the Pump or the EZ Trap become clogged they will shut power off to the system. If the Wet Switch detects Water in the Auxiliary Pan it will shut power off to the system. Please see attached estimates. Measured Refrigerant Charge on system which is to standards at this time. Found the Capacitor on the Outdoor Unit Testing to rating, but it is rusted due to the Furnace Exhaust Vent being located near the Unit. The Venting may need to be redirected away from the Unit to prevent further damage. The Vent Pipe currently is located about 2’ below a window.
