Service call that the AC for the Second Floor System was not Cooling. Found Thermostat set to 70 Degrees and the Indoor Temperature was at 76 Degrees. The Indoor Coil was frozen and needed to be defrosted before further troubleshooting. Defrosted Coil and put system into operation. Found Refrigerant Temperatures/Pressures to be well below normal. Replaced the High Efficiency 413 Air Filter which was very dirty. Also found Fan Speed was only running at 700 CFM for a 3-Ton AC system. The Dipswitches for Cooling Air Flow were not set properly. Set Dipswitches for Cooling per Furnace at 400 CFM per Ton. Also found unit to wired for Low Stage Cooling. Rewired to the correct Terminal. Retested Refrigerant Levels which now were greatly improved, however the Superheat was at 25 Degrees with a 2 Degree Subcooling. Added 3lbs of 410-A Refrigerant to the System, Charging by Subcooling. Upon completion the Subcooling had increased to 8 Degrees. Supply versus Return temperature increased from 14 to
