Performed Precision Air Conditioning Tune Up on Trane AC System. Replaced the 20x20x1 Air Filter. Air Filter was very dirty and should checked/changed more frequently. Inspected Electrical Components on Air Handler and Outdoor Condenser. The Capacitor for the Outdoor Unit was testing at its lowest rating and was very rusted and in poor condition. Replaced the Dual Capacitor due to overall condition and rating. Measured Refrigerant Charge on system. While testing Refrigerant, found Pressures/Temperatures to be off due to being low on Refrigerant. Added 1lb of R-22 Refrigerant to the System, Charging by Subcooling and a Superheat. Superheat dropped by 5 Degrees and Subcooling was increased to 8 Degrees. Supply and Return Air Temperatures increased to 20 Degrees.
