Service call that the Dorm Managers Apartment was not heating. Thermostat was set to 74 Degrees but the Blower Fan was not turning on. Tested system and found the Control Board had failed and was sending power to the Blower Motor. Control Board has rust damage on it, which would have caused it to fail. The Control Board had previously failed due to a similar issue. The part of the Control Board that is failing fits into an cutout inside the Air Handler. This could be indicating that the Hydronic Coil above the Air Handler is leaking and the water is dripping onto the Board. Looked inside the Air Handler and was unable to determine a source for the leak. When installing new Control Board moved the position of the Board. Installed new Board and completed all wiring connections. Checked 16x20x1 Air Filter. Tested Blower Capacitor which was within rating. Put system in operation and measured Supply and Return Air Temperatures. Supply Temperature measuring 127 Degrees with a 64 Degree Retur
