Performed Precision heating tune up on Gas Furnace. Replaced 20x25x1 Air Filter. Inspected Heat Exchanger from access panel in supply plenum. Found Heat Exchanger is very rusted on the outer walls and inside the Heat Exchanger chambers as well. Did not see any cracks or spots where the rust ate through the Walls. Heat Exchanger is in poor working condition and the Furnace should be replaced before failure of the heat exchanger occurs. Tested electrical components on system and performed Combustion Analysis on Furnace. Measured Air Temperature readings on system. The Gas Furnace is about 32-33 Years old. Due to the age and the concern for the heat exchanger, would recommend replacement of the Gas Furnace before any issues occur.
