When we arrived found blower on old indoor oil furnace constantly running. Pulled off Nest thermostat from the wall and still continued to run. Removed g terminal wire from sub base and it still was running. Went down to furnace and found there was an open limit in the blower compartment. Jumped limit out and it still continued to run. Pulled g wire from control board and still running. Bad relay on fan timer board. Also while in blower compartment found squirrel cage bent and shaft to blower moter had wobble in bearings. After talking to homeowner, he is not fixing anything at this point. He would like to switch over to propane. He is going to just let it run as is at this point. Homeowner would like a quote to install furnace , he will call when ready.
