Found lp gas furnace hot surface igniter coming on and lighting pilot but not lighting main burners. Did not hear any click at gas valve during a call for heat. Checked lp gas pressure with a digital manometer , had 11.1 w.c. Up to valve and nothing coming out of valve, bad gas valve. Gas valve is a Honeywell smart valve . Recommend replacing both gas valve and control board. Both board and smart valve would cost around $1500 to replace. Also found heat exchanger has a lot of rust and corrosion. Recommend to replace furnace and a/c together due to being 15 years old. Homeowner will call us to talk about replacement.
