Performed PECO Heat Pump Tune Up on Maytag System. Inspected Aprilaire High Efficiency 501 Air Filter. Filter was in good condition and did not need to be changed. Homeowner orders replacement filters and changes himself. Performed Inspection on system using PECO Checklist. Measured Refrigerant Charge on system. Inspected Electrical Components on Indoor and Outdoor Units. Cleaned Condensation Trap and Pump. Inspected condition of Indoor and Outdoor Coils. Inspected Blower Motor Condition. Found Dual Capacitor on the Outdoor Unit was very rusted and testing below rating. Spoke with Homeowner and recommended replacement of the Capacitor. Recommended Repair was deferred at this time.
