Service call that the AC was not working. Upon arrival found system turned off. Turned system to cooling to test. Outdoor fan was operating but the compressor was not turning on. Tested dual capacitor which was not reading the proper levels. Also found a burnt terminal wire on the Contactor. Replaced the 50/5 Dual Capacitor and repaired burnt wiring. Tested the Start Capacitor which was measuring at correct levels but it very corroded. Would recommend replacing the start capacitor and start relay for system as well. Put system in operation and tested. Measured Amp draw on compressor which was to standards. Measured voltage across Contactor. Measured refrigerant charge on system and replaced 20x20x1 Air Filter. System is operating to standards at this time. Included an estimate for the replacement of the Start Capacitor and relay.
