Service call that the AC was not working. Upon arrival, spoke with homeowner about issue. System has needed refrigerant added previously and was recently had R-22 added by another company. Put system in operation to test. Measured refrigerant charge and found system nearly void of charge. Due to age of system (28 Years) and condition, would recommend replacement of system rather than trying to add refrigerant. There is a significant leak in the system for the refrigerant to have leaked out after being added only 4 days ago. Will follow up with a proposal for replacement of the Gas Furnace/AC system.
