Installation of a Customer supplied Aprilaire 1850 Dehumidifier to replace the Dehumidifier that was previously installed but was damaged when the basement flooded recently. Collect balance upon completion. Install customer purchased Dehumidifier in same location next to the Furnace. Install in Drain Pan with Float Switch. Duct Dehumidifier to the main ductwork with 8" Flex, and also to pull from the basement using TEE Fittings. Unit is gravity drain into a sump pump. Test operation of Dehumidifier upon completion. Customer would also like us to look at the basement/garage space to see if there are any other options for conditioning the space. Customer is concerned about water that is appearing on the drywall ceiling. 8/28/20. Installed Aprilaire dehumidifier in 30x30 metal drain pan with float switch. Put dehumidifier up on pump up legs.
