Performed Precision Air Conditioning Tune Up on Carrier System. Replaced 20x25x1 Air Filter. Cleaned Condensation Pump and Drain Line. Inspected Electrical Components on Indoor and Outdoor Unit. Measured Refrigerant Charge on system. Checked Amp readings of compressor and Outdoor Fan Motor. System is operating to standards. When the AC System First turns on, a dimming of the Lights was noticed from the basement. If this is happening throughout the house it is a result of the Outdoor Unit drawing some extra power upon startup. A Hard Start Kit would be recommended to correct this issue. Spoke with Homeowner about an issue with the Hallway being very hot in the summer. The Whole House Fan is located in the Hallway. This is not insulated and the Heat could be leaking through into the house. Would also recommend looking at the quality/level of insulation in the Attic as well.
