Performed Precision Heating Tune Up on Through the Wall Gas Furnace. Replaced 16x25x1 Air Filter. Inspected electrical components on unit. Found upon arrival that dryer vent that hangs behind the unit was ripped and lint and dryer exhaust was emptying into the utility closet. Included estimate for the replacement of the Flexible Dryer Vent. Removed Supply Plenum and inspected heat exchanger. Found several rust spots on exterior of Heat Exchanger Tubing. Performed Combustion Test and combustion readings were within rating. Due to the rust on the Heat Exchanger would recommend replacement of the system before any failure of the heat exchanger occurs. Age of unit is about 10 Years Old.
