Service call that the Heat was not working and it may be a power related issue. Upon arrival spoke with homeowner about issue. Found thermostat calling for heat but the system was not running. Inspected unit and found system out on a 3 Flash High Limit Lockout code. Reset unit and tested. Air Supply temperature was exceeding 150 Degrees and causing unit to shut down on high limit safety. This unit has a multi-speed blower motor. Increased Blower Speed for heating to the highest Speed Tap. Put unit in operation and continued to monitor. Allowed system to run for over 15 minutes and Supply Temperature did not exceed 125 Degrees. The ductwork for these homes is undersized and causes the Temperature rise to be higher than normal.
