Arrived onsite and spoke with homeowner about concerns. Reviewed install with homeowner and found the flex collar on the supply duct is dry rotting and cracked. Found Air Leakage around slip and drive connections on duct and where holes had been drilled for the thermostat probes. Measured the flex collar and will order a replacement. Dan will order a new flex collar from Kevin and call homeowner to schedule the return visit. Materials Needed: 12x8 (5†Width of Flex Collar) Plain Metal Tape (no writing) Zip tie and organize low voltage Homeowners prefers Thursday afternoons (3 p.m.) Dan and Chris will return to install the flex collar and seal all of the ductwork, and perform the QA at that time. Dan will call homeowner to schedule the return visit after he orders the flex collar.
