Found communicating carrier system locked out at air handler on a code 44 at control board. Looked up code and found it to be control board not communicating with ecm motor. Recommend to homeowner to replace both indoor control board and ecm blower motor and add a surge protector to motor. Called distributer for price and availability. Was not able to get a hold of distributer, will contact on Monday to get price and availability. Homeowner has hot water baseboard for this area of the house.
