Completed AC tune up for 3 Ton system Replaced 16x25x1 filter Inspected condition of both the indoor and outdoor coil Measured temperature split (67-46=21°Good) and static pressure Ensured drains were clear. Left estimate for EZ trap with float switch that will shut system down if drain should get clogged. Verified operation of condensate pump. Inspected wiring, controls, electric motors and components. Checked condensate on duct work, found insulated duct that had condensation on it. The duct is dry but a puddle had formed when it had condensation on it. Checked dehumidifier, found drain clogged and the full bucket light was on. relative humidity is 70 %. Cleared drain and started dehumidifier.

Talked to customer about problem he is having with being very dusty around the house. Talked to homeowner about air leakage and this would not cause it to be dust in the home but recommend installing a high efficiency Aprilaire filter rack system along with a reme air purifier for best performance. Duct work in basement in enclosed in drywall and is not accessible. Also recommended to get a heating and cooling membership to give discounts on these installations. Also because homeowner had mentioned tune up had not be done this year on the gas furnace.
