Very professional and made sure everything was working well.
Arrived timely and courteous
Brian, was on time and very knowledgeable. He was able to solve our furnace problem and explain exactly what he was doing. He was great.
Service tech was very pleasant and professional always kind and informative
AC Tune up for 3 ton Rheem System. Replaced Filter. Drain ok. Both coils are in good condition. All electric motor s and components ok. Refrigerant pressures/subcooling/superheat ok. 28F temp split. Can mpressor Amps/indoor amps ok. Cycled system/thermostat ok. System is operating well at the time of this tune up.
Performed cooling maintenance, checked air filter ok. Cleaned eztrap and drain. Checked voltage, amperage and electrical connections, measured capacitor values. Started air conditioner, checked refrigerant charge and temperature drop across coil.
Talked to customer about problem he is having with being very dusty around the house. Talked to homeowner about air leakage and this would not cause it to be dust in the home but recommend installing a high efficiency Aprilaire filter rack system along with a reme air purifier for best performance. Duct work in basement in enclosed in drywall and is not accessible. Also recommended to get a heating and cooling membership to give discounts on these installations. Also because homeowner had mentioned tune up had not be done this year on the gas furnace.
Checked no backup auxiliary heat. Raised thermostat, propane furnace came on and heated. Checked air filter ok. Checked fuel pressures ok. Checked thermostat and wiring. Found no reason for no lp backup.
Performed Heating Tune Up on American Standard Hybrid System. Replaced High Efficiency Aprilaire 401 Air Filter. Cleaned and serviced Humidifier. Humidifier is set to 35% on Thermostat. Ran test on Humidifier from the Thermostat to test operation. Inspected Furnace and cleaned all drain lines and tubing. Cleaned Condensation Pump and EZ Trap. Tested system in Heat Pump mode and measured Air Temperatures. Tested system in Auxiliary Mode and performed Combustion Analysis on unit. Performed Precision Heating Tune Up on Heat Pump system which supplies the Sunroom Addition to the home. Checked Air Filter which was clean. Tested electrical components on Indoor and Outdoor Units. Put system into Heating mode and measured refrigerant charge. Tested Auxiliary Electric Heat and measured 20 Amps across 5kw Heating Element. Performed Inspection/Tune Up on Tankless Water Heater. Cleaned Ignitor assembly and inspected Burner Area. Checked Electrical Connections on unit. Cleaned Drain Line tubing
Performed heating maintenance, replaced air filter. Cleaned burners and flame sensor, inspected heat exchanger. Checked voltage, amperage and electrical connections, measured capacitor values. Started gas furnace, tested limit and safety switches. Performed combustion test. Checked operation and temperature rise.
Performed precision Heating tun up on Amana gas Furnace. Replaced 20x25x1 air filter. Inspected Irving nd components. Cleaned Pressure switch tubing and inducer Orifice. Cleaned flame sensor and inspected burners and heat exchanger. Put system into operation and performed combustion analysis. System operating to standards upon completion.
Performed cooling maintenance, checked media air filter. Blew out condensate drain. Checked voltage, amperage and electrical connections, measured capacitor values. Started air conditioner, checked refrigerant charge and temperature drop across coil.
Performed precision a/c tune up on older York a/c system. 16x25x1 air filter was just replaced. Checked all electrical conections and components. Blew out condensate drain. Found fins on outside coil very beat up and not in the best of shape. Checked temperature split at indoor unit. Checked refrigerant pressures and temperatures at indoor and outdoor units. System is working ok but would recommend to start thinking about replacement of system. Homeowner had also mentioned that he wanted a price to install a high efficiency filter rack system. Gave homeowner a quote to install.
Performed 6 month quality check on new system, checked furnace setup, checked media air filter. Tested water safety. Started heat pump, checked refrigerant charge. Checked operation and temperature drop across coil. Serviced sunroom unit, checked air filter, cleaned condensate trap and drain. Checked voltage, amperage and electrical connections, measured capacitor values ok. Started heat pump, checked refrigerant charge and temperature drop across coil.
Performed a/c tune up on amana a/c system. 20x25x1 air filter is clean. Blew out condensate drain. Checked all electrical conections and components. Tested condensate pump. Checked refrigerant pressures and temperatures at indoor and outdoor units. System is working fine at time of inspection.
Returned to site to install a Wireless Outdoor Sensor for the Hybrid System. Connected Sensor to the Prestige IAQ Thermostat. Mounted Sensor on wall near the Outdoor Disconnect Box. Setup set points on Thermostat Programming. System is setup to Lockout the Heat Pump at or below 40 Degrees. Reviewed all settings on Thermostat and adjusted Humidifier Control to be operated by the Thermostat. This will allow the Thermostat to turn the Humidifier and Blower Fan on in between Heating Cycles if the Humidity falls below 35%. Put system in operation to test.
When I arrived found thermostat room temperature at 57 degrees and set point at 80 degrees on cooling setting. Switched over to heating and furnace went thru sequence of operation, fired up then locked out on pressure switch error code.cleaqned Daly’s out of trap, and made sure all tubing was open . Turned on furnace and still had a pressure switch error code. Took off exahaust pipe and found 2†pvc half way full of flys and fly larva. Dumped out pipe and furnace continued to run smoothly. Only on the thing I noticed was the counter balance for the inducer motor was brittle and was starting to break off. For now homeowner is going to leave alone .
Checked no heat complaint, found furnace locked out on pressure switch open, blew out condensate trap and drain, found water in pressure switch port, blew out ports. Cycled furnace and checked temperature rise.
Installed an American Standard gas furnace and converted to LP using supplied conversion kit. Installed 2-Stage Outdoor Unit heat pump on snow legs with new disconnect and surge protector. Adapted duct work as needed, taped and sealed all connection. Ran new condensate drain with eztrap and ran new vinyl tubing to point of discharge. Adapted gas piping as needed and check for leaks using leak detector. Flushed lineset and then brazed to Indoor and Outdoor units. Pressure tested system at 300 psi of Nitrogen. Evacuated system to below 162 microns. Installed new IAQ thermostat with Supply/Return Duct Sensors and Control Module. Made all Low Voltage Wiring Connections. Installed an Aprilaire 600M humidifier. Wired Humidifier into the Module to be controlled at the Thermostat. Tested Humidifier at the thermostat and setup for 35% Humidity. Programmed Thermostat for Hybrid system and programmed controls at the Furnace. Tested system in Heat Pump Mode and Auxiliary/Emergency Gas Furnace Heati
