Oil Boiler tune Up for Dunkirk oil boiler system: Cleaned and inspected flue piping and heat exchanger. Checked piping for design, components and any leaks. Replaced oil filter, replaced nozzle, replaced strainer. Inspected cad cell eye, transformer, primary control, and electrodes. Verified HydroStat operation and settings. Verified thermostat operation. Checked pump pressure and cut off. Measured piping temperature differential and monitored boiler temperature and pressure during heating cycle. Combustion/draft/smoke test: Good Part of oil tank close to valve shows signs of breaking down. When valve was shut oil dropped at a slow rate. Recommend replacing oil tank based on these observations. Boiler is operating well at the time of this maintenance.
