Performed Precision Heating Tune Up on Ruud Gas Fired Furnace. Cleaned Furnace Drain Lines and tubing. Inspected electrical components on system. Checked Aprilaire 410 Filter which was clean and recently changed by homeowner. Was informed about an issue with the Humidifier not working which had been previously diagnosed during last years Heating Tune Up. Reviewed options and Installed a Manual Humidistat Control and wired directly into Furnace Control Board, bypassing the Control Module. Removed Humidifier Wiring from Module. Replaced Humidifier Water Panel and cleaned drain line. Cleaned Condensation Pump and filled to test operation. Put system into operation and performed Combustion Analysis on Furnace. Tested Humidifier and opened dampers. The thermostat is no longer controlling the Humidifier. The Humidistat above the Humidifier is now controlling it. Set Humidistat control to 35%.
