Performed Precision Heating Tune Up on the Oil Fired Furnace and the Heat Pump System for the Addition to the Home. Both Air Filters were very dirty and were changed. Cleaned, serviced, and tested both Humdifiers. Both Humdistat controls are set to 35%. The Oil Filter and Oil Nozzle were replaced on the Oil Furnace. The Chimney Base, Flue Pipe, and Heat Exchanger were cleaned. Cleaned and reset Electrodes on Burner Assembly. Performed Combustion Analysis, Draft Test, and Smoke Test on Oil Furnace. Inspected Electrical Components on the Air Handler and Outdoor Unit for the Heat Pump System. Found the Dual Capacitor on the Outdoor Unit was testing electrically within rating but is very rusted and in poor condition overall. Also found Single Pole Contactor is worn and pitted. Recommend replacement of the Dual Capacitor and Single Pole Contactor. There are several wires in the Outdoor Unit that the Insulation is becoming worn and should be repaired.
