Service call that the AC was not operating. Upon arrival, spoke with the Homeowner about issue. Was informed that the Thermostat was blinking on/off. Proceeded to the Attic to diagnose. Found Wet Switch was intermittently shutting the system on/off due to water being in the Auxiliary Drain Pan. Inspected System and found the Condensation Pump was sweating. Also Inspected Condensation pump to ensure it was not cracked and that was causing the water issue. Used Foam Insulation Tape to insulate around the Bottom and Sides of the Condensation Pump. Put system back in operation to test. Measured Refrigerant Charge on system. While testing system, found EZ Trap was also sweating. Used the Foam Insulation to insulate the EZ Trap and Drain Area. If issue continues we will have to either insulate the Pump with heavier insulation or consider the option of running a drain pipe from the unit to the outside and alleviating the Pump.
