I was called to a home to inspect a Goodman furnace that was not working. Upon arrival, I found that the furnace was running great, firing up well with good amp draws on the inducer motor and blower. I cleaned the flame sensor, checked the ohms on the igniter, and made sure there was a clean filter in the filter slide. I also checked the gas pressure and found it to be within the manufacturer's specifications. I then explained to the homeowner the steps I took to diagnose and repair the furnace, and I provided them with a detailed estimate for the repairs. I also offered to provide them with a maintenance agreement to ensure that their furnace continues to run smoothly. The homeowner was very pleased with the service and agreed to the maintenance agreement.
