I was called to a home to find a leak in the kitchen. Upon inspection, I found that the leak was coming from the small stub behind the wall near the kitchen faucet. I went into the attic and noticed that it broke off and was allowing water to drip through the pipe. I then capped the rest of the pipe to stop the water from coming down. I installed a vent near the kitchen faucet to allow venting. The client did not want to sign anything and wished for the issue to be resolved.
