I was called to a home to investigate a no-heat call. Upon arrival, I found that the furnace had a crack in the heat exchanger and that the systems igniter had gone down for the second time in the past year. I explained to the client the dangers of carbon monoxide and the importance of having a properly functioning furnace. The client wanted to know the prices of a new system. I explained that there were many options available and that we would work together to find the best solution for their needs and budget. After discussing the options, the client decided to go with a high-efficiency furnace that would provide better heating and lower their energy bills. I installed the new furnace and tested it to ensure it was working properly. The client was happy with the results and thanked me for my help.
