I was called to a home in the suburbs to fix a clogged orifice unit. When I arrived, I found that the unit was not working properly and was causing a significant amount of water to back up into the home. I diagnosed the problem as a clogged orifice and proceeded to clean it out. After cleaning the orifice, I tested the unit to ensure it was working properly. I then explained to the homeowner how to maintain the unit and prevent future clogs.
