I am a highly skilled home service professional. I recently completed a job where I found that an old thermostat had stopped working in a client's home. Upon further investigation, I discovered that the client had installed a new thermostat, but it was a communicating thermostat, and the old thermostat was a legacy thermostat. To resolve the issue, I wired up the system downstairs as a legacy system. The system fired as it should, and the client was informed that due to the system only having four wires, they would no longer have the fan function, but they would still have heat and cool. I am proud of the work I performed and the satisfaction of my clients.
