I arrived at the customer's home to perform a routine maintenance check on their gas fireplace. Upon inspection, I found that the flame was sputtering off and on and throwing a flame sensor code. I cleaned the flame sensor and emptied the water collector for the flu. However, the fireplace still was sputtering. I placed a parts order form in for a new gas valve.
