I went to the client's home to provide an estimate for installing shut-offs to drain the upstairs bathrooms. The client has three bathrooms in total, two of which are on the second floor. The client does not want us to cut the drywall, but we will if necessary. I found two water lines that go directly to the second floor, but I'm not sure if they will shut off the entire water supply. The home was built in the mid-to-late 1800s, and there is barely any insulation on the second floor. The water lines are CPVC, but there are copper lines on the outer wall. I gave a quote to install two shut-offs and a drain tube into a shower. The client will discuss with someone before moving forward.
