After conducting indoor air quality testing today, I determined the client would benefit from an integrated air purification system. Using a TSI AeroTrak particle counter, I measured elevated particulate levels above recommended thresholds. Air sampling also detected elevated volatile organic compounds from various household sources. To improve IAQ, I recommended installing an Aprilaire Model 5000 ionic air purifier directly into the HVAC system return duct. This whole-home solution uses high-voltage electrodes to ionize particles, allowing them to be captured on an enhanced media filter. The system's oxidizing process also helps reduce odors, VOCs, and other gaseous contaminants circulating through the home. Upon the client's approval, I will schedule installation of this verified clean air solution.
Reznor unit heater repair. Found bad blower replacing with new motor.
