End of the day call👍 Addressed an oil heater repair for a Beckett AFG burner that was producing excessive smoke. Performed a thorough cleaning of the heat exchanger and flue passages. Replaced nozzle and adjusted electrodes to manufacturer specifications. Conducted efficiency test and fine-tuned air-to-fuel ratio for optimal combustion.
Completed a furnace maintenance service in Mansfield, NJ, ensuring the system is ready for the colder months ahead. Checked the heat exchanger for cracks, cleaned the burner assembly, and tested the limit switch for safety. Replaced the air filter and inspected the thermostat for accurate temperature control. The furnace is now prepped for efficient operation.
