Tom answered all our questions, showed us what needed cleaned and maintained, drained our water heater and changed thermostat batteries. A pleasure to have visit and clean furnace. We wish Tom worked for Nicor as employee and not Dykstra Company. Happy Customer
My only concern is that I have a 10 year parts and labor warranty. Dykstra wants to change me a diagnostic fee. How could the technician know what to fix if he doesn't check for the problem. I have given many referrals for Dykstra but I'm not so sure about future referrals. I am very disappointed as I feel like I was misled about the extended warranty.
We had a technician from Dykstra come to look at an issue with a connection with our furnace, he was prompt,thorough, and wore a mask as well. He explained a few things which surprised me, i am very pleased with how he did his job and will continue to use your company for other things concerning our furnace when needed. Jan was extremely knowledgeable and very courteous. I was very happy with his service. The job was very well done.
Jan called and introduced himself and stated he was 15 minutes from our home. He arrived promptly at 8am. He again showed his badge, introduced himself, put on his she covers and asked if he can see the thermostat. I directed him and we proceeded downstairs to the heater. After several minutes Jan asked to see me and gave me recommendations on the filter replacements. Jan was extremely thorough and not pushy. He explained everything in a detailed manner and said he would outline it on the invoice. Jan is a well seasoned/veteran technician that clearly has a passion for his trade. He kept me engaged in what he was doing and asked if I had any questions. I stated that he did a wonderful job explaining everything and did not have a question. He then said if he can ask me a question and I said absolutely. He asked if I would be able to take a short survey on the service he provided. I agreed and am now completing the survey for him. Jan is a true professional and knowledgeable man. It was a pleasure speaking with him. I’m certain his job was well done and gives me peace of mind. Experienced and seasoned professionals like Jan are hard to find and more difficult to replace. So keep him happy so he can make your customers happy!
