Moved to a new house and called Emerald in to perform a furnace cleaning and inspection to make sure all is good. I've been using Emerald for years and wanted to continue working with them at the new house. Travis was professional and kept me informed every step of the way. Test and tune on Peerless high efficiency natural gas boiler.
Completed furnace test and tune. No operational issues found at this time, installed new humidifier pad, and discussed current furnace filter condition. Customer is having trouble with supply air to furthest bedroom from furnace that’s above a garage. Discussed going to a WiFi thermostat with room sensors to combat cold or hot rooms. Determined that the registers without airflow are just fresh air openings. I will be following up by next wensday with them.
Completed furnace and ac test and tune. Discussed comfort select plan and whole house humidifier, declined humidifier signed up for future inspections. No issues found at this time.
After thorough inspection of ac system and discussing issue with customer determined that the system charge is ok at this time and that the lack of performance was due to the furnace filter not being changed in a year, customer had already changed it this past weekend and that since he has changed the filter its been operating normally. Static pressure is slightly high at 1.10 good temperature drop. Recomended to have me clean condenser coil to increase efficiency and ensure smooth operation, declined at this time. Scheduled furnace inspection for September 16th at 8 am
Amana air conditioner low refrigerant
Installed 6 inch roof cap for chimney vent. No other request,issues or concerns at this time.
Completed ac test and tune, system runs on r22 found indoor coil actively leaking got joe out to give estimate on repair vs replace. Renewed comfort select plan for future inspections.
Determined system was low on refrigerant. Discussed installing up die and returning to look for leaks, declined at this time, only wanted to put the refrigerant in. Installed two pounds of R410a. No other issues found at this time.
