After removing the Ducane gas furnace, I installed a Carrier 96% 60,000 BTU Gas Furnace. Cycled and monitored the system. Operating normally at this time. Included with the installation is a free 1 year service maintenance agreement.
I arrived to a diagnostic service call. Bad blower control board. Was able to tap relay and get it to send 240v for a couple seconds. Board needs replaced. Client will let me know.
I provided an estimate for two new systems in a home. For the furnaces, I recommended a Carrier Multi-Speed 2.5 Ton Electric Furnace & a Carrier Multi-Speed X-13 3 Ton Electric Furnace. For the air conditioners, I recommended the Carrier 13 SEER 2.5 Ton Air Conditioner and a Carrier 13 SEER 3 Ton Air Conditioner. Included in the estimate is a 1 year free service maintenance agreement.
I performed an estimate for an air conditioner as the home does not have one. I recommended the Five Star 13 SEER 3 Ton Air Conditioner for the home after the duct-work is redone.
I completed a diagnostic service call on an Armstrong air conditioner. I determined that due to the age and condition of the unit that it is best to replace the unit. Customer opted to have full replacement done next week.
During a tune up on a Lennox system, I found that the heat pump is not working and advised customer to use emergency heat. A couple of the heat banks have failed. I recommend replacing system instead of repairing. Customer will let me know how to proceed.
